Founded in 1939 in Mondovi, Wisconsin, Mississippi Welders Supply Company (MWSCO) began with a network of dedicated driver-salesmen serving southeastern Minnesota, western Wisconsin, and northeastern Iowa. In 1966, a second location opened in Winona, MN. The company expanded under Don Peterson’s ownership in the 1970s, adding branches in La Crosse, WI, Red Wing, MN, and Rochester, MN. Brad Peterson joined in 1991, accelerating growth with new facilities in Winona, Rochester, and other locations. MWSCO’s commitment to innovation led to the launch of Weldfabulous.com in 2003 and an Automation and Robotics Lab in 2017. With investments like Absolute Air in 2019 and the addition of new branches, including Appleton, WI, in 2022, MWSCO continues to prioritize customer success and technological advancement.
